Porting & NBN Phone Services.
Telephone number ports are $125. This brings your copper based number across to the NBN Network so that your phone comes via the optical fibre conection.
If we set up your phone at the same time as the data connection there is no charge for the phone connection. If we add the phone later there is a one off $15 set up charge
Please be aware that NBN Phone services are not "standard telephone" services, & as such the CSG does not apply. Of course we will rectify any issues with your NBN phone service asap.
19 & 1900 numbers are not available from the NBN Fibre Telephone service.
In order to port your existing phone number it needs to remain "active" until the port is complete.

1. Agreement that Rivertel Pty Ltd may seek consumer credit information (Section 18K (1) (b) Privacy Act 1988). If Rivertel Pty Ltd considers it relevant to assessing my/our application for credit, I/we agree to Rivertel Pty Ltd obtaining from a credit reporting agency a credit report containing personal credit information about me/us in relation to credit provided by Rivertel Pty Ltd.
2. Exchanging information with other credit providers (Section 18N (1) (b) Privacy Act 1988). I/we agree to Rivertel Pty Ltd obtaining personal information about me/us from other credit providers, whose names I/we may have provided to RivertelPty Ltd or that may be named in a credit report, for the purpose of assessing my/our application for credit, made to the company.
3. Listing credit default information (Section 18E (1) (b) (vi) Privacy Act 1988). I/we agree that if I/we default on our terms of subscription, Rivertel Pty Ltd may list information about my/our credit default with a credit reporting agency.

What Happens Now?
After you click the submit button below, your order will be sent to our Provisioning dept.
They will;
- Create a tracking ticket to track the progress of your order - you will get emails from this system advising you each step of the way.
- Confirm that your address is suitable for NBN connection
- Confirm your address with NBN Co
Then our Accounts dept will;
- Perform Credit Check
- Establish your account & update your ticket with the details
- Place your order with NBN Co
Then we email you the "Preparing for the NBN Guide"
After this we will advise you of your appointment time & date with the NBN Co technician, who will be installing the NBN Co Equipment. We will update the tracking system & also SMS you with this appointment. Please contact us as soon as possible if you cannot be there.
When the NBN Co tech finishes his install, please call us on 1800288871 so that we can activate your service. This can take up to 24 hours.
Connect your phone to UNIV1 & your Computer to UNID1.
For multiple computers and/or WiFi, you will need a wireless router

We do not need to come out & install anything after the tech has finished his install.
Once your service is activated we will advise you of your phone number.
Then we set up your account in our Data Usage & Itemised Calls system so that you can see your usage & calls.
The last step is a Welcome Kit, which we email you, which contains a stack of information to help you get the most from your services with us
